• What is a Certified Document Translation?

  A certified translation converts a document from one language to English as required for an official or administrative process. What makes a translation certified is that a signed declaration (on company letterhead) confirms that:
  
  

  • A.The translator is qualified to translate the document because they are fluent in both languages. The identity of the translator is also disclosed.
  • B.The translation of the document(s) is complete and accurate.

  
  
  A document does not need to be translated by a certified translator to be considered certified. The only requirement for a translation to be certified is that it comes with a certificate of accuracy. A certified translator is defined as someone who has taken and passed an exam that tests their aptitude with professional translating skills.
  
  This certificate does not confirm document authenticity nor the veracity of its contents. It only verifies the translation was done per certification standards.

• How Do You Translate a Document Officially?

  Once your documents have been uploaded, they are assigned to a professional translator who is fluent in the language of the document as well as the language it is being converted to.
  
  After the translation is complete, it goes through a multi-step quality control process where a proofreader, editor, and project manager all review it for any errors. Then we send it to you for final approval. You may request revisions if you find any issues.

• Who Will Translate My Documents?

  With Languex, accurate translations are our top priority. For this reason, we only hire the most capable translators. Each translator is vetted for their language skills and fluency with rigorous testing.

• How Long Will the Document Translation Take?

  When document translation services are needed, we understand that timing is crucial. That’s why Languex has an efficient process that allows for a quick turnaround within 24 hours.
  
  For larger projects or translations in bulk, we work with you on a timeframe so that all translations will be completed promptly.

• How Will the Translations be Delivered?

  Once the translation is finalized, you will receive a document containing the translation via encrypted email.
  
  If you ordered a certified translation this will also include a formal certificate of accuracy. If you paid for a hard copy of the translation, we will send this to you by mail.
